Sidewalk Cleaning in Lithonia, GA
Recently, I was contacted by a Church in need of a major overhaul in order to get ready for their anniversary coming up. They contracted me to clean 5 sidewalks. Some of the sidewalks had stairs along with them and the longest sidewalk was covered with a filthy mud stain. This property was definitely in need of cleaning, but I knew that this transformation would make the church look brand new again. Even though this job was very simple, it took a full day of work to accomplish the task. They needed a pressure washing company who knew exactly how to tackle this job. They looked no further than Sweetwater Softwash to fix their issue. The first step in the process was the pre-treat. Once the pre-treat was applied, after only 20 minutes, I could see the dirt and algae loosening from the surface. I knew if I hadn’t treated the surface being cleaned, the dirt and algae would come back within a short amount of time. This extra and crucial step guarantees a long lasting clean. Next, I used my pressure washer with a wand to clean the nooks and crannies that my large surface cleaner couldn’t reach. I also cleaned the stairs with the wand. Once I got all of the handwork done, I hopped on my surface cleaner and back and forth I went. I could see the dirt just floating away. Once I cleaned all of the dirty surfaces, I rinsed all of the remaining dirt off with clean water. Most of the time, this process would be over for the regular sidewalks, but the mud stain was a different story. For that, I used a special chemical along with my pre-treat, and then I waited. I could see the chemical eating away the mud. After allowing the chemical to soak on the sidewalk for 30 minutes, I used the same process described above to clean it. This meant wand work came first, surface cleaner work came second, and rinse clean came last. Finally, these sidewalks looked better than new. And there you have it. With no streaks and a long lasting clean, Sweetwater Softwash has another very satisfied customer.
