Mud Stain Removal in Athens, GA
This client calls us to come look at removing a mud stain on their driveway, patio, and house. This wasn’t your typical mud stain. The entire driveway, patio, and lower portion around the house was coated with mud. We ended up doing the mud stain removal and gutter brightening as well. So the process begins. I used a special chemical made for removing mud stains. You cannot use just any chemical, you have to have the right one or you will not see any results. Mud stain is a very difficult to get up and sometimes it will not all come up. What happens often is that when a house is built, the mud around the house and on the equipment gets on the house and driveway. This happens more often than not and if contractors cleaned after themselves when the house was built this could be avoided. So I coat the entire driveway, sidewalks, patio, and bottom of the house with the mud stain remover. I let it sit for around 30 minutes to sink in the the concrete and eat away the filth. I also coated the concrete with the Softwash solution to prevent the mold from coming back as well. I then got my surface cleaner and back and forth I went. One section and a time and then I would rinse the loosened dirt off the cleaned surface. Let it dry and then that part was done. I then moved on the the gutters, I used a telescopic pole with a soft pad on the end and a special gutter brightening chemical to clean them. I would spray the gutter chemical on to the foam pad and the. scrub back and forth on the gutter as the grime fades away. After one gutter I would rinse and move to the next. After the gutter I rinsed the equipment, talked to the client, and they were very happy with the results. They could actually see their concrete now. Another very pleased customer for Sweetwater Softwash and on to the next.
